Your beloved Bileweavers are back in town with a fresh new infestation, and we are also releasing a fun new toy for all who are willing to try it, which can be found in the Murder Circus Compound. Keep your eye out for a new Scarce Weapon to fight the infestation of monsters and enemy Hunters alike!

Bileweavers Return

A post-holiday infestation has overrun the bayou and gulch, marking the return of the Bileweavers. These game-changing enemies have swarmed compounds across all maps, altering the tactical landscape with their presence. And now, players can encounter these monstrosities in both Bounty Hunt and Bounty Clash modes! From Traits and Tarot Cards to Hunter Corpses cocooned in webs, the Bileweaver Nests are a dangerous trove of rewards for those equipped to handle the threat. • Infested compounds feature new structures built by the Bileweavers, opening up new routes, creating new cover, and adding more loot to existing compounds.

Introducing the Flame Rifle

A new piece of equipment to combat this menace can be found at the Murder Circus Compound: the Flame Rifle. This custom made, medium-slot weapon is a Conversion that releases pressurized liquid, igniting upon ejection to produce a steady burst of flames. While complex to master, the Flame Rifle is highly effective against the Bileweaver infestation and can even turn the tide in fights against enemy Hunters.

Master the Weapon

Firing the Flame Rifle reduces its internal pressure and consumes oil from its attached tank. The higher the pressure, the farther the flames travel. However, pressure also depletes while idling, so keep a close eye on the weapon's gauge! To maintain its power, Hunters must manually pump the rifle and replenish its oil supply from the yellow barrels scattered across the map.

Flames from the rifle will propagate upon hitting surfaces, creating patches of burning oil that persist for a short time. Used strategically, it can engulf entire groups of Grunts or enemy Hunters. This unique Scarce Weapon opens up new tactical gameplay, but can only be acquired at the Murder Circus Compound.

Hunters, the time to douse the infestation and claim your rewards from the terrifying Bileweaver Nests is now. Visit the great webbed compounds of the bayou and the gulch and set the world on fire—carefully. In the meantime, enjoy Post Malone's Murder Circus Encore, now running until February 9^th, 2026.
