Hunters from all over the world have congregated in Louisiana to join in the fight against the corruption that has taken hold. Each Hunter has their own story, their own methods, and their own motivations. What are yours?

We want to hear your Hunters' stories, so this month we are asking you to share them. Create a video about one of your Hunter's origins and experiences, and submit it by posting it on social media with the hashtag #MyHuntStory. Where are they from? How did they hear about the Louisiana incident? What do they believe is happening in the bayou, and how do they intend to fight it? Are they in it for gold? For glory? For redemption? For revenge? What happened to them once they arrived on the scene?

To get you started, watch our new lore video, There Came a Darkness, which provides background about what is happening in Louisiana, and why. Then pick a character, and spin us a tale. Our lore video is embedded below, and the contest details are listed below that. We cannot wait to see what you come up with.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS AND REWARDS

In order to be considered for our contest your video must:

-Tell the story of a Hunter. (Or Hunters. If your tale requires it, there can be more than one.) You can answer one of the questions listed above, or choose your own angle on their backstory.

-Be no longer than 15 minutes.

-Have English subtitles if it is not in English.

-Have a minimum resolution of 720p.

-Be uploaded to YouTube.

-Include the Hunt Video Showdown competition logo at the beginning or end of your video, which you can get here in white and here in black.

-Only include music or audio that you own the rights to/have created yourself, or music from the Official Hunt: Showdown soundtrack.

-Only include footage you have captured from Hunt: Showdown (no other games), or filmed or created yourself.Only include footage you have captured from Hunt: Showdown.

-Be submitted to the contest via social media (Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram) by using the hashtag #MyHuntStory. Don't forget to include a link to the video!

Submissions are due by May 22, 2020 at 23:59 PM CET.

Three winners will:

-Have their video uploaded to the official Hunt: Showdown YouTube channel.

-Have their video promoted on Hunt's social media channels.

- Receive a one-of-a-kind Hunt hoodie, an official Hunt mug (choose between black or white), 1000 Blood Bonds, and 2 DLCs of your choice (if you already own them all, then their Blood Bond equivalent)!

Winners will be selected by the Hunt team, and their decision is final.

Further Terms and Conditions

By submitting your video you agree to the following further terms and conditions in addition to the rules of the contest described above:

If you are picked as one of the three winners of this contest, you grant to us the perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, sub-licensable right and license to upload and broadcast your contest video on Crytek´s YouTube channels. You acknowledge that the only compensation for the foregoing license are the rewards provided in this contest.

By submitting your contest video you confirm that you are over 18 years old and that you are entitled to grant us a license as described above. You confirm that you created the video yourself and/or that you have all necessary rights to grant us a license as described above.

Any attempts at cheating or fraud are prohibited and will lead to a full disqualification of your submission and your exclusion from the contest. In such a case we reserve all legal rights and actions; including but not limited to legal action for damages.

By submitting your video via Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter you acknowledge that (i) this contest is not associated to Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter and (ii) that you and not Facebook, Instagram or Twitter provide any material submitted by you in this contest and (iii) that you indemnify Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter from any claim associated with your participation in the contest.

We expressly reserve the right to cancel this contest or to modify/amend the Further Terms and Conditions without any announcement and at our sole discretion.

This contest is governed by the laws of Germany. Any legal action is precluded.
