Dear Hunters!
It's a momentous occasion - we're celebrating three years of Hunt: Showdown! Whether you joined us from the start in Early Access on Steam or arrived in the bayou after we released in full on PC, Xbox One, or PS4, we want to thank you for joining us on the journey so far. It hasn't always been easy, but we're super proud of how the game has grown, including adding live events, a new map, new Legendary Hunters, teams of three, a PvE mode, new bosses, weapons, and equipment. Your feedback shapes how we develop the game, and we couldn't have done it without you. Rest assured, we've got plenty more to come.
To celebrate three years of Hunt, we're running a whole host of activities, including giveaways, discounts, and a few surprises, on our social media channels. Stay tuned, so you don't miss out on anything. We'll also be rolling out some special Steam emotes and featuring some throwback compilations of classic Hunt moments in the bayou. And if you want to leave your own mark on the game, enter our Weapon Skin contest! One overall winner and two runners-up will have their designs added to the game, along with winning some cool Hunt swag. Head to the contest website for details.
We've been adding to, expanding, and improving the game since launch, and that work doesn't stop. Soon we'll be releasing Patch 1.5 on PC and console, which will add your much-requested custom ammo to the game and much more. We'll provide more details on the patch as it lands. Looking further ahead, the roadmap includes improvements to matchmaking, a new map, more live events, and a few very exciting things that we can't talk about just yet…
We're always focused on your feedback, so as well as new content coming to the game, we continue to work to improve our anti-cheat systems and eliminate disconnects, stutters, and other technical issues that some of you encounter. This game wouldn't exist without you and wouldn't improve without you. Every week we collate your feedback, so we can focus on what's important to you, so please keep all of your feedback coming so we can make Hunt even better over the months and years to come.
